Kirsten Kurtenbach

I believe that learning should be accessible, impactful, and purposeful for every learner. Bringing a diverse background in teaching and broadcasting into my instructional design work, I start with a thorough needs analysis to ensure I am creating unique learning experiences tailored to diverse audiences. By utilizing modern methodologies and technology, I ensure we hit clear learning objectives and maximize knowledge retention—always finding creative, forward-thinking ways to keep learners genuinely engaged.

I’ve always loved video production and teaching, and I’m lucky enough to have built a career in both. For me, Instructional Design is the absolute perfect marriage of the two, and that unique background is exactly what makes this work so joyful for me.

Outside of design hours, I'm a bit of a true crime and podcast fanatic, an avid reader, a puzzle lover, and a traveler. While I like to imagine myself as a clever detective solving mysteries, I know in real life that's not quite the "case"!

I share my life with my wonderful husband of 30+ years and our two amazing daughters. Whenever we can, we love to travel—especially to New York City, which is one of my absolute favorite places to visit as often as possible!
