Unconscious Bias in the Workplace: 7 Taps
Welcome to this quick-hit microlesson on Cultural Awareness Pathways (CAP)!
Whether you’re running the team or just trying to navigate the daily grind, dealing with workplace bias can feel incredibly draining—and honestly, a bit hopeless. Left unchecked, it creates a vibe of friction and misalignment that nobody wants to work in.
That’s exactly why I built this 7 Taps microlearning asset. Think of it as a fast, accessible alternative (or companion piece) to my deeper CAP training. My goal is to shed a quick light on those subtle, everyday behaviors we might not even realize we're doing.
To keep things engaging, I’ve included small quizzes along the way so you can check your understanding as you go. Plus, I'm a firm believer that learning should be for everyone, so I’ve baked in full closed captions and rigorous color contrast checks to ensure total accessibility.
Fun fact: This project is close to my heart! I’ve spent over a year volunteering my instructional design time with Core Skills, Canada—an incredible non-profit organization—to help bring this material to life.
The Two Minute Rule: Vyond
Ever feel like you’re constantly fighting a losing battle against procrastination? Welcome to **The Two-Minute Rule**, a scenario-based microlearning video designed to give you the fundamental tools to conquer that lingering to-do list.
To bring these scenarios to life, I built this module in Vyond using a sleek blend of standard business-friendly assets and unique, custom-designed visuals made specifically for this video.
Because I want this strategy to stick long after the video ends, this learning experience also comes fully equipped with its own storyboard and a handy job aid you can keep at your desk for quick reference.
Ready to beat procrastination in just two minutes? Let's dive in.
SMART Goals: Vyond
Welcome to my microlearning module on **Creating SMART Goals**! I designed this scenario-based lesson to give you a quick, practical look at the fundamentals of both writing and actually executing goals that stick.
To make the scenarios feel real and engaging, I built the video in Vyond, mixing their classic business-friendly characters with custom, unique assets I created specifically for this project.
I also wanted to make sure you have everything you need to succeed beyond the screen. So, along with the video, I’ve put together the original storyboard and a handy job aid you can grab whenever you're ready to map out your own goals.

10 Dimensions of Belonging: TechSmith Camtasia
Welcome to my microlearning video introducing the 10 Dimensions of Belonging! I built this project in TechSmith Camtasia to strike the perfect balance—capturing both the professional corporate environment and the authentic human spirit needed to truly represent these behaviors.
My goal here was to break down these 10 dimensions in a way that is super direct, engaging, and easy to digest.
To help the concepts stick, I also put together a companion job aid you can reference anytime. And if you're looking to take a deeper dive, you have the option to extend the experience with an upcoming virtual instructor-led training (VILT) session.
Let's dive in and explore what it really means to belong!
Bio-Hacking Your Virtual Presence: PowerPoint
Welcome to my microlearning project! I actually built this as a virtual instructor-led training (VILT) "teach back" presentation for a job interview, and the behind-the-scenes process was a massive collaboration with AI.
I used Gemini to help me brainstorm and land on the perfect topic, draft and refine the script, and flesh out a complete facilitator guide. When it came to the visuals in Canva, I leveraged premium AI features to customize and alter many of the images so they fit the vibe perfectly.
Along with the core PowerPoint presentation, I also used Canva to design a matching companion job aid, pulling in imagery from the slides to keep everything cohesive.
Take a look and see how it all came together!
Job Aid: Stakeholder Meeting Vs. Needs Analysis
I put this visual together after being inspired by a LinkedIn Learning course I took on Needs Analysis. It perfectly sums up my biggest takeaway from the course, as well as a major misconception I used to have: that stakeholder meetings and a true needs analysis are "one and the same."
Take a look at how I broke down the real differences between the two!
I built this project after getting inspired by a monthly online challenge issued by Tim Slade. Using Articulate Rise paired with the Mighty! extension, I put together a super fun, interactive hiking guide for a fictional park out in the Southwest.
Grab your virtual boots and let's explore the trails!
Welcome to this quick, stand-alone microlearning module! I designed this lesson to show you exactly how to create your own AI-generated images right inside Canva.
To make it as clear and easy to follow as possible, I built the module in Articulate Storyline, leveraging the screen record feature to walk you through the process step-by-step.
Let's dive in and start creating!
